We are so lucky here in Port Townsend to be cradled in nearly every direction with mountains. Anywhere I head - whether it’s into town, out of town, uptown, downtown - I am met by stunning mountain views. Olympics, Cascades, Baker, Rainier. From my backyard to my drive to work, they take my breath away every single time. Especially this one in particular. Mount Baker😍. I’ve only recently started painting her because she’s so beautiful I didn’t think I could capture that beauty properly. But now that I’ve started practicing painting her, I don’t want to stop. Loving this version in Ultramarine, Cerulean and Quinacridone Magenta. 24”x24” Fresh off the easel, painted on wood and heading down to the Zee Tai Collective.
